The Thanksgiving Wobble and Gobble 5k run through Bethel Village is a fun way to spend an hour or so of your Thanksgiving morning engaged with the community, supporting a local organization, and burning enough calories to justify a third or fourth piece of pumpkin pie.

The race is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am (same day registration begins at 7:30 am) from Parking Lot D which is located across the street from Western Maine Supply and next door to the Gem Theater. The race course meanders through Bethel Village with a challenging climb up the Eden Ridge switchbacks and ends at the starting location.

All proceeds from this event benefit The Bryant Pond 4H Learning Center’s “Harvest for Health” gardening and nutrition program. We will have bins available for non-perishable food items and encourage participants to bring any items they wish to have donated to local pantries.

If running isn’t your thing, there are plenty of ways to be involved. We are in need of race day volunteers as well as encouraging by-standers to cheer on the runners.
