Open Stage for Young Adults

Midnight weekend screenings happen on Friday & Saturday nights (meaning arrive on Friday and/or Saturday night by 11:45pm for seating, the movie starts after midnight)!

Run Time: 90 min.

Join BAAM, The Gem and Moovin’ On Productions for a 90-minute show featuring an open stage for young adults to perform music, dance, comedy, etc. This event is scheduled at the same time as the Singer-Songwriter Circle, but with a different host and in a different theater.

This will happen every second Thursday of the month. The first Open Stage for Young Adults will happen Thursday, September 9th, from 7 to 8:30. Performer sign-ups begin at The Gem at 6:30pm. Please come support the young artists in our area! This event is FREE, but donations will be welcome.

Please contact BAAM Coordinator, Kate Webb, coordinator@bethelareaartsandmusic.com, for more information/questions.

Attending Live Performances

To ensure we are offering the safest environment possible for our patrons, live performers, and staff, The Gem is requiring audience members to have proof of vaccination or a negative (within 72 hours) Covid-19 test to attend a live performance at The Gem. Proof of vaccination can be a physical vaccine card or a photo of your card. Children under 12 are exempt from this policy.

In addition, all audience members at live performances must wear masks inside the theater.

The Gem’s staff is fully vaccinated, but some of their children are too young to be vaccinated. We appreciate your help in keeping Gem families safe. Thank you!
