Inspired by old photographs from his grandfather, Gabriel Andrus sets out on cross country skis to explore winter in New Hampshire, meeting locals along the way, and discovering how winter in New Hampshire is changing.
New England based independent filmmaker, Gabriel Andrus, will be in attendance on Saturday evening, January 11th, to freely share his film with our community. Remember Winter been selected for broadcast on NHPBS and for the NH film festival, as a way of extending community conversations about climate change and its impacts on our New England traditions.
Peter Dugas will lead a Q&A following the film. Peter Dugas is the Northeast Regional Director and Maine State Coordinator for Citizens Climate Education / Citizens Climate Lobby, a nonpartisan grassroots organization focused on effective and equitable climate solutions. He serves as the liaison to the office of Senator Angus King (ME-I), is an EN-ROADS Climate Ambassador and has been a long-time advocate for climate action since first becoming aware of the problem while earning a degree in Physics and Engineering from Brown University. Peter Lives and works in Portland, Maine.
