Picture Family Film Tour: Home Lines & The Arctic 12

Midnight weekend screenings happen on Friday & Saturday nights (meaning arrive on Friday and/or Saturday night by 11:45pm for seating, the movie starts after midnight)!

Join us for a night of Picture Family Films featuring Jackie Paaso and the Picture Family! Doors will open at 5:00pm, Films and Q & A with Jackie will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm. All ticket proceeds will go toward scholarships for local kids to participate in local ski programs. The Gem is requiring audience members to have proof of vaccination or a negative (within 72 hours) Covid-19 test to attend. Proof of vaccination can be a physical vaccine card or a photo of your card. Children under 12 are exempt from this policy. Attendees at ski movies must wear masks.

As a child, Jackie and her family would travel from Foxboro, MA to Sunday River every weekend so that Jackie could be part of the weekend competition program. When she was in 8th grade, the family had the chance to move anywhere in the country and they chose Bethel. Jackie attended Telstar in 8th grade and then spent 4 years at Gould as a freestyle skier, graduating in 2000. In 2006 Jackie became a Big Mountain Skier and also skied on the Freeride World Tour for many years. She has produced a new film called “The Arctic 12” which will be highlighted during this event. She stars in “The Arctic 12” and the film “Home Lines”,  which will kick off the the evening for us.
