Please join us for this special event! Make sure to bring a lawn chair and blanket to enjoy this outdoor event!

Here is a list of films MOFF will bring to The Gem:

UNDERSTORY – A JOURNEY INTO THE TONGASS – 40 minutes – by Colin Arisman – from VT – Short synopsis: Three women set sail on a 350 mile expedition through Alaska’s massive Tongass National Forest, exploring how clearcut logging in this coastal rainforest could affect wildlife, local communities and our planet’s climate.
IF I TELL THEM – 12.43 minutes – by Oliver Sutro – from CO – Short synopsis: James Sampsel, a plein air painter and fly-fishing guide, comes to terms with his past and a bi-polar diagnosis that hangs over his future.
THE SEA FARMERS – 9.13 minutes – by Nathan Golon & Emilie Silvestri, GoodFight Media – from Portland, Maine – Short synopsis: All Amanda did was give Emily one floating line of rope in the ocean, but that action sparked a livelihood. Amanda’s small gesture of kindness allowed Emily to imagine a life on the water she hadn’t considered before: as an oyster farmer.
SNOWY – 12 minutes – by Alex Wolf Lewis and Kaitlyn Schwalje – from Maine – Short synopsis: Snowy, a four-inch-long pet turtle, has lived an isolated life in the family basement. With help from a team of experts and his caretaker, Uncle Larry, we ask: Can Snowy be happy, and what would it take?
FREE AS CAN BE – 31 minutes – by Samuel Crossley – from CA – Short synopsis: When a young climber infatuated with climbing history meets an old legend, he commits to helping him accomplish his lifelong goal of free climbing El Capitan.
