Granite Backcountry Alliance (GBA), a backcountry skiing non-profit in western Maine and New Hampshire, is returning to the Gem Theater in Bethel, Maine to show its Backcountry Film Festival on Saturday, February 22nd. GBA is teaming up with local conservation group Mahoosuc Land Trust (MLT), with all proceeds benefiting backcountry tree skiing and land conservation projects in the Mahoosuc Region.
Immerse yourself in a night of films that capture the spirit of winter. Adventure, environment and climate, youth outdoors, ski culture- you’ll find it all in this award winning lineup. Beer, wine, pizza and raffle tickets will be available at this night of winter revelry.
Tickets are $10 ($5 of each ticket goes to enhance glade skiing in the Mahoosuc region and Maine’s latest glading project: a pioneering collaboration between GBA and Mahoosuc Land Trust and Black Mountain of Maine at MLT’s Rumford Whitecap Mountain Preserve.)
