Our goal in 2023 is to make The Gem a great venue for live performance. Last year, we partnered with BAAM (Bethel Area Arts and Music) to create a sustainable model for supporting live programming. The Gem’s on-screen advertising revenue went directly to BAAM. It was a big risk, but it’s starting to work!

We’ve heard from you that you want to see more performances and bigger acts. In 2023, individuals will be able to give directly to support the “BAAM at The Gem” live programming fund. To kickstart the expansion of this fund, a generous arts supporter has offered BAAM a $15,000 matching challenge.

When you select your 2023 Gem membership, you now have the option to become an “Arts Supporter” or an “Arts Patron.” In addition to a Gem membership, the balance of your support for BAAM will be tax-deductible.
