Updated COVID Health & Safety Guidelines 9/1/22

Effective September 1, 2022: The Gem will no longer require proof of vaccination for all movies and events. The August 11th update from the CDC appears to be a declaration that Covid-19 is now endemic. In their statement the CDC emphasized that Covid-19 can still be life-threatening, though with the widespread availability of vaccines, boosters and antivirals, individuals now have ample tools to mitigate the most severe impacts of the virus.

We have been struck these past few months by how many of our most loyal patrons, some of whom we didn’t see for years, have been coming back to the movies. Many cited the vaccination policy as the reason they felt comfortable coming into our theaters. If you count yourself among this group, we don’t want to lose you.
