The Gem’s Health & Safety Guidelines, 8/24/21

Attending Movies

The U.S. CDC is currently recommending people in areas of high and substantial COVID-19 transmission wear face coverings in public indoor settings.

Oxford County has been designated an area of high transmission.

The Gem requests that you wear a mask in the lobby &  movie theaters, even if you are vaccinated. You can remove masks to eat & drink in the theaters.

For the ski movies with large audiences (TGR & Warren Miller), The Gem is requiring audience members to have proof of vaccination or a negative (within 72 hours) Covid-19 test to attend. Proof of vaccination can be a physical vaccine card or a photo of your card. Children under 12 are exempt from this policy. Attendees at ski movies must wear masks.

Attending Live Performances

To ensure we are offering the safest environment possible for our patrons, live performers, and staff, The Gem is requiring audience members to have proof of vaccination or a negative (within 72 hours) Covid-19 test to attend a live performance at The Gem. Proof of vaccination can be a physical vaccine card or a photo of your card. Children under 12 are exempt from this policy.

In addition, all audience members at live performances must wear masks inside the theater.

The Gem’s staff is fully vaccinated, but some of their children are too young to be vaccinated. We appreciate your help in keeping Gem families safe. Thank you!
